How much does a business loan cost at Qeld?

At Qeld , you pay a fixed monthly fee each month for using the loan (user fees), plus a fixed monthly repayment on the outstanding loan amount (amortization). Add the two amounts together and you have your total monthly amount.

The amount you pay monthly in fees and repayments is calculated based on the loan amount, the loan period, the company's credit score and other factors. Curious about what we can offer you? Simply submit an application and we will get started with a free quote for your business loan! Our quote is always personal - and more importantly, always without obligation! You decide whether you accept our offer or continue to look for suitable financing to realise your ambitions.

Why a fixed price for a business loan?

We prefer a fixed monthly price, because that way you know exactly what will be debited each month. You never have to worry about complicated interest rates or a sudden increase in your monthly costs. At Qeld, the monthly amount remains the same for the entire term of your business loan (unless you apply for a loan increase in the meantime and want to borrow extra credit).

Are there any hidden costs?

No. At Qeld , we are completely transparent about our prices and terms. You pay at Qeld a fixed monthly price for using the business loan and a standard monthly repayment. Add the two amounts together: this is the total monthly cost.

Qeld does not work with varying interest rates or hidden costs, only a fixed monthly cost and amortisation. This enables our Qeld customers to know exactly where they stand every month. Do you want to repay the loan early? This is also possible without extra costs. This way, you only pay for the period you actually need the loan! Smart!

Who can apply for a business loan?

All Dutch entrepreneurs, large and small, can apply to us for a business loan, including BVs, VoFs and ZZP'ers. The only hard requirements we set are that the company is already registered in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce (valid Chamber of Commerce number) and that the management of the company is resident in the Netherlands. It does not matter in which sector the company is active, how long the company has existed or how many employees there are: Qeld evaluates each application individually based on an advanced credit assessment.

We give all entrepreneurs a chance!

What does Qeld offer entrepreneurs?

  • Corporate loans from €1,000 to €500,000
  • Applying for a loan is completely non-binding
  • No hidden costs
  • No start-up fees
  • Flexible loan term from 6 to 18 months
  • Repayable at any time without extra charge

When is the business loan transferred?

Upon digital signing of the contract, we try to transfer the business loan the same day (if the loan application is approved and signed before 5 p.m.).

Please note that transferring the loan does not mean that the amount is automatically visible in your account. We are dependent on banks and systems to process our payments. For most customers, the money is available in the account the next business day, but it may take a little longer to receive your funds due to the processing time of the bank.

Will you request/receive credit information about me?

Yes, in order to evaluate your business loan application as required, we use credit information obtained through reputable credit rating agencies. This includes credit information on both personal creditworthiness and that of the applicant's company.

What is Qeld?

Qeld in brief

Qeld is the Dutch division of Qred: the expert in business loans. Qred is a Swedish company, founded in 2015, with a clear goal: to make financing for entrepreneurs easier, faster and more flexible. We love small entrepreneurs and offer them the chance to grow, invest and increase their profit potential.

How do we do this? By providing flexible business loans that can be repaid at any time. This means an entrepreneur only pays for the period he or she actually needs the loan. Qeld offers business loans from €1000 to €500,000, with no start-up costs or hassles.‍

How does applying for a loan with Qeld work?

Our goal of making business loans easier, faster and more flexible is what drives our processes. For example, entrepreneurs can submit a loan application through our website in as little as one minute. Our team will then carry out the necessary credit checks and contact you within an hour to discuss the application.

Is your creditworthiness in order? Then you'll receive a personalised offer that can be signed digitally with iDIN. When digitally signed, we transfer the loan amount the same day. Fast, simple and safe.

How much does a business loan cost?

Qeld has no standard rates but instead assesses each credit application individually. This means that each entrepreneur receives a personalised offer.

At Qeld, you pay a fixed monthly price for using the loan, plus a fixed repayment amount. This way, you know exactly what you are paying every month for your business loan, without hidden costs or complicated interest rates.

Why Qeld?

Small business owners often find it difficult to arrange financing through traditional banks. They are turned down because the loan amount is too low or they have to deal with a process that takes weeks. Therefore, Qeld is the smart solution for ambitious entrepreneurs: flexible financing for small business owners, in your bank account within one working day.

We have invested in a modern online system that is completely independent of expensive offices and manual steps. By analysing data from hundreds of sources, we can assess an application immediately and act quickly. No other company grants and disburses business loans faster than Qeld. Our team is also service-oriented and makes business lending easy to understand.

What does it take to get a business loan?

Qeld evaluates each business loan application based on several factors. Our team makes an overall credit assessment of whether a business owner is able to meet future payments. We also make a considered assessment of whether the amount borrowed is commensurate with the size and revenue of the business.

Based on the credit assessment, we are sometimes forced to reject an application for a business loan. One of the most common reasons is that the creditworthiness of a company or representatives is not sufficient, for example, because there are already outstanding debts. That said, in the case of individual arrears, Qeld always tries to think along with the loan applicant about the possibilities. We always try to look at the full picture. Another reason for possible rejection is that the information provided is incorrect/inadequate or that the payment capacity of the company is uncertain or cannot be estimated.

In order to give an application the best chance of success, our team may contact the client to obtain more information and/or documents, such as annual reports, turnover data and/or bank statements from at least the past three months in MT940 format. Providing this kind of data enables our team to conduct a more comprehensive credit assessment and possibly prepare an offer with better terms. So, if we come back to you with a request for additional documentation, we kindly ask you to comply...

What is the interest rate for the business loan?

Interest rate business loan: Qeld chooses interest rate by risk

At Qeld we regularly get the question: 'What is the interest rate for a business loan?' The answer: 'We work with interest by risk.' This means that we try to make a personalised offer for every entrepreneur (and business loan application), so that we can offer the most favourable rate based on your circumstances. What is the same for every business loan is that you always pay the same fixed monthly rate.

Qeld does not work with variable interest rates or complicated payment plans, because we want to keep business loans simple. At Qeld you pay a fixed monthly charge (interest business loan) for using the business loan, plus a standard repayment on the loan amount (amortisation). These monthly usage costs (interest business loan) and the repayment (amortisation) are the same every month, so our customers know exactly what the costs are each term.

We also give our customers the option to repay the business loan in full at any time, with no additional fees or penalties. No binding term: so you can choose how long you use the loan. The sooner you repay it, the more advantageous business loans become at Qeld !

Interest rate business loan: how are the costs calculated?

Our fixed monthly user fee, our form of interest, is based on a company's individual credit score. This score is based on a company's comprehensive credit assessment. Please note that we cannot calculate the interest rate for a business loan until we have registered an application.

Curious about what your business loan would cost? At Qeld , requesting a quote is always free of charge and 100% non-binding, so find out today and submit your application via the 'Apply now' button or our homepage!

What happens if I do not pay on time?

If the monthly payment has not been received, Qeld first sends a friendly payment reminder. Should the payment remain outstanding, a choice can be made to forward the case to debt collection. If a company is no longer able to meet the contractual payment obligation, the guarantor will be held responsible for the outstanding payments.

Have you forgotten your monthly payment or are you having problems paying an invoice? Let our team know and contact us at support@qeld.nl. Payment problems can affect any entrepreneur, which is why our team is happy to accommodate you by finding a solution. As long as you are honest and open about your financial situation, our team can assist you and prevent any payment problems from escalating.

We understand that it can be difficult to raise the alarm when you cannot pay, but if we do not know what is going on, we cannot discuss a possible solution with you.
